"Fans of Hornsby and of Robert Cuccioli, the actor who played the "sick bastard," came to see the show. Harriet Coker of Virginia Beach said she first saw Cuccioli in the title role of "Jekyll and Hyde" when it made a Norfolk stop in 1996. He usually plays large, manly characters. And this guy was sick and weak and troubled. It's amazing he did it so well," Coker said. She saw a dress rehearsal and a preview and noticed positive changes. "I loved it. I think the music was great. It's catchy. I had a hard time sitting still."
